Achievement

Selected as an ‘experience architect’ of wildlife photography by Times of India For guiding and advising budding wildlife photographers selected from all over India for a week-long tour of five major wildlife sanctuaries and National Parks of Gujarat in 2018.


It was a proud moment for India when he was invited as a jury to judge world’s biggest photography contest held in Dubai in 2013 organised in the name of crown prince of Dubai Hemden Al Rashid Al. International photographic award organised by HIPA, an organisation of the King of Dubai and royal government. It was the biggest Honor, being the only Indian selected among eight other juries selected from all over the world. Other juries were, three from London, two from USA, one each from Italy, Netherlands and Dubai. They judged record 38002 photographs received from 130 countries in ten days


He has published Two coffee table Wildlife photographic Books.

  • First Book “ My Journey In To The Wild” was published in 2012 , released by Honourable Prime Minister (In oficio), the then Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi on 6th July2012.
  • Second Book “ Wings Of Nature “ with over 500 photographs of Birds from Various parts of the world has been released this year by Smt. Vyjaynthimala Bali on 23rd Jan 2020.

He was selected as one of the “ Super Six “ photographers of India by Fuji International and Jindal photos for the year 2008. Their outstanding photographs were exhibited Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai,  Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.


He was awarded the most prestigious Award of Government of Gujarat “Gaurav Puraskar” for his outstandind contribution in promoting wildlife of Gujarat through his brilliant work in field of wildlife photography for the year 2003-04.


He received Honourary Degree of AIIPC for his excellance in wildlife photography from India International photographic council in 2003-04.


His biggest achievement was to be a “Semi finalist” in the World’s “Best photographer of the year -2002” organised by British Gas’ London. From 18000 entries, his three photographs were selected for semi finals. He received a ‘ special mention ‘ certificate from London as well as their counter part in India.


He received “Lalitkala Academy Award for the” Best Photograph ‘in1999.
